* All docks have galvanized box truss steel frames. * 12 inch truss frames are commercial grade extra heavy duty. * Rotomolded foam filled Polyethylene tanks. * No rotting or warping as with conventional wood docks.
SUBSTRUCTURE: Sub frames consist of a 12" box truss design composed of side panels which feature 1 ½" x 1 ½" x 3/16" angle for the top and bottom cords and 1 ½" x 1 ½" x 3/16" angle members for the diagonal web in the side panel. Each side panel consists of two diagonal pieces every 4' with a vertical member every 4'. There is positioned from opposite corners on the bottom of each 4' section, one horizontal diagonal brace using 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/16". There are vertical upright supports for the runners using 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/16". The vertical corners of each section are constructed out of 3" x 3" x 3/16" angle which is used to connect the sections together using ½" x 1 1/2" grade 8 bolts. Each corner has a bolt connection at top and bottom. Center runners are constructed out of 1 ½" x 1 ½" x 3/16 angle spaced no greater than 16" on center. After fabrication, the frames are then hot dipped galvanized.
